ABOUT VOXFORGE

Fantasy publishing,
built around community.

Voxforge is an independent fantasy publisher built around the idea that readers should be part of the journey. Publication should feel like the point where a story and its community arrive together—not the beginning of a sales pitch.

WHAT VOXFORGE IS

Stories should have time to become worlds.

Voxforge is being built around two complementary ideas. The first is original fantasy developed in close contact with its readers: stories can begin in serial form, grow alongside a community, and eventually reach wide publication as complete editions.

The second is fiction created with game studios and IP holders. Games often contain histories, characters and corners of their worlds that players already care about but may never experience fully on screen. Voxforge wants to turn that depth into substantial novel series—not disposable tie-ins, but fiction designed to stand on its own.

01

Original fantasy, grown with readers.

Serialisation, direct community interaction, refinement and finished wide publication become parts of the same journey rather than separate stages.

02

Game worlds, expanded through fiction.

Partner with creators to explore the people, histories and conflicts already living inside established worlds—and build them into lasting literary lines.

HOW WE WANT TO PUBLISH

The audience belongs inside the journey.

The reader relationship should begin before release day. That does not mean stories are written by committee. It means writers and publishers can listen, communicate, learn what resonates, and let a real community form around the work while preserving a clear creative vision.

ROOM TO GROW

Build stories and settings with enough depth to reward years of attention.

DIRECT RELATIONSHIPS

Make readers part of the publishing journey rather than customers who appear only at the end.

DELIVERY MATTERS

Story, editing, presentation and the finished object all belong to the same promise.

THE PEOPLE BEHIND VOXFORGE

Built on twenty years of trust.

Claude König
FOUNDER & PUBLISHER

Claude König

Claude has worked in the film industry for sixteen years, writing for film, television and documentary. He has also developed stories with writers from many genres, backgrounds and walks of life.

His experience includes leading writers’ rooms, where he has introduced his own dramaturgical tools for story development. He has guided many writers through long-form narrative work from early concept to production. He continues to produce documentaries focused on social issues and war.

Night and Day, a series he has been developing for seventeen years, is the long-form fantasy project at the centre of Claude’s career and the foundation for Voxforge.

EDITOR-IN-CHIEF

Pouyan Assar

Pouyan studied English Literature and has spent sixteen years editing for magazines and websites and working as an English–Farsi translator of specialist non-fiction publications.

He has also been part of the indie-gaming community for more than twenty years. That combination of editorial precision and community literacy sits directly at the centre of what Voxforge is trying to build.

Claude and Pouyan have been friends for twenty years. Pouyan was the first person to read Night and Day in 2011, and when Voxforge moved from idea to reality, the first person Claude asked to build it with him was Pouyan.

WHAT COMES NEXT

Night and Day is the beginning, not the endpoint.
