2. Hosting, delivery and security

The website is intended to be hosted and delivered through Cloudflare. Cloudflare will also provide DNS, server-side form processing through Pages Functions or Workers, and security services used to operate and protect the site. Technical connection and request data may be processed as necessary to deliver and secure the website.

3. Contact enquiries

When you contact Voxforge through the website, the information you submit will be processed so the enquiry can be reviewed and answered. The contact form will use a Cloudflare server-side endpoint and Cloudflare Turnstile for abuse and spam prevention. Contact messages will be delivered to the Voxforge mailbox hosted by Namecheap. The final notice will state the confirmed retention approach for correspondence.

4. Newsletter and free-story delivery

The Voxforge newsletter will use MailerLite and double opt-in. Subscriber information will be used to confirm subscriptions, send the newsletter and deliver subscriber material such as the free Night and Day story. The final launch review will confirm the MailerLite account settings, any newsletter measurement enabled, the applicable retention periods and the relevant international-transfer safeguards.

5. Analytics

The launch site is intended to use Cloudflare Web Analytics for basic traffic and performance measurement. No advertising pixels or behavioural advertising systems are planned for launch. The deployed implementation will be checked before launch to ensure this description matches the actual configuration.

6. Cookies and local storage

Voxforge is being designed to avoid optional marketing or analytics cookies at launch. Fonts will be served from the Voxforge website rather than loaded from third-party font services, and external platforms will be linked rather than embedded. Security technologies may still use technically necessary browser storage or cookies where required. If the final deployment introduces any technology that requires prior consent, an appropriate consent mechanism will be added before launch.

7. External platforms and purchases

The website may link to external services including Royal Road, Patreon, Amazon and Instagram. Voxforge does not process purchases or payments on this website. When you follow an external link, the privacy practices of the destination service apply.

8. International data transfers

Some service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. The final notice will identify the transfer mechanisms applicable to the configured Cloudflare, MailerLite and Namecheap services before launch.

9. Retention

Personal data will be kept only for as long as needed for the relevant purpose and any applicable legal obligations. Concrete retention periods or criteria will be confirmed for contact correspondence and newsletter records during the final launch review.

10. Your rights

Depending on the applicable circumstances, data-protection law provides rights including access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent. Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing carried out lawfully before withdrawal.

11. Complaints

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection supervisory authority. The final launch version will identify the authority appropriate to the business location and processing activities.

12. Changes to this notice

This notice will be kept aligned with the services and processing activities actually used by Voxforge and updated when material changes are made.
